beyond the aid station in sapulpa will be a commercial district. you can continue to run on sidewalks. travel approximately 0.9 miles farther east to where highway 66 t's at the sapulpa schools administration building. turn north and when you come to the junction of sh66( new sapulpa road) and old highway 66 (old sapulpa road) veer left and head north (on old highway 66). stay on old highway 66 until you you reach 49th west avenue. turn right and finish at the carl's jr. right there on your right! you did it!

there has been a fairly significant change in the end of the race course. frankoma pottery let us know on thursday (nov 2) that we needed to find a different place to end the race. this created a real problem for us since we thought we had secured this venue over a year ago, and had basically planned the course from this point backwords. we spent several hours considering options. carl's jr. had already agreed to provide food for the finish line by transporting it over by car. when we checked the map to see where carl's jr. was in relation to the race course we were shocked to find that by following the course you see here now we reach the carl's jr. restaurant just 1.5 miles farther than we were at the other place! we consider this a miracle and we are back in business. we now have a finish location where we are wanted and will be supported. carl's jr. will stay open throughout the entire race and provide hot food at for us when we finish. we will be able to use the restrooms and sit in the restaurant to stay warm (or dry, or cool, or whatever!) and the access to the turnpike is great. we will adjust the out and back at the start to account for the 1.5 miles at the end.
